Golicha holds Master of Business Administrationt (MBA) in Strategic Management from Kenya Methodist University, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance (Honours) from Maseno University and Diploma in Co-operatives Management from Co-operative College of Kenya. He also holds a Diploma in Microfinance for Innovative Rural Finance sponsored by SIDA and Certified Public Accountant of Kenya I.

Golicha brings to the Women Enterprise Fund long development knowledge and experience  spanning over 25 years, which cuts across Public, Private and Civil Society Sectors in Sub-Sahara Africa. e has 19 years experience in innovative microfinance designing and management both as a consultant and a manager, and 5 years in pioneering devolved County Government in the capacity of County Executive for Trade, Investment, Tourism and Enterprise Development.

His core fields of specialty include innovative microfinance organizational designing and management, Research and Development (R & D) of pro-poor financial products and programs having rose through the ranks of Regional-Project-Operational and General Manager. His contribution to Kenya Microfinance industry culminated in pioneering of Affordable Housing Microfinance Company Limited as its first General Manager. As a subsidiary of K-Rep Group,  the company focused on financing of affordable houses to address the need of low-income urban population residing in slums and informal settlements.                                                                 

He’s a seasoned consultant in broader areas of financial modeling (Microfinance, Islamic Shariah products, Affordable Housing, Cooperatives, village banking, Agriculture finance, VSLA) and Business Development Services (Entrepreneurship Development, Financial Literacy), Formulation of sectoral laws and policies, Youth programming and mentorship, and Corporate training.

Golicha is well rounded in development resource mobilization, management of funds intended for BoP population and management of donor portfolios having handled programs funded by USAID, EU, DFID, Ford Foundation, SIDA, Danida, UNDP, SNV and Private Sector Foundations.

Golicha is currently doubling as a enterprise development consultant including acting as   Technical Advisor Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) Business Advisory Service Partners (BASP) and a Business Lecturer with Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK).

He is a member of Kenya Association of Microfinance Professionals of Kenya (AMPK) and Association of Co-operators Professionals (ACP), founder member of Pastoralist Professionals Association (PPA).
